Members' Images

A recent survey of our members found that most of you would like to see more of other members' work. There are several ways we can accomplish this. One is, more of you need to submit work for the competitions and critiques! Two, members are always welcome to bring a few prints to the meeting to share before and/or after the program with other members who might be interested. Three, we have in place a 'show & tell" system for digital images. You may have 5 minutes before the program to show a reasonable number of images and tell us something about them; for example, why you chose the subject, how you made the shots, maybe you tried a different processing method, maybe you want to share a unique photo opportunity, etc. You must contact Mark Janke in advance to schedule your 5 minute slot. Certain programs will be exempt from having a pre-program show & tell period. Commenting from the audience is not permitted during the 5 minutes but they may discuss your work with you after the regular program. Four: Since these options still limit the viewing of members' work and require some effort for the makers, I'm asking any member who has a web site or other album(s) of their work on line to post the link in the comments here. Some of you are on Flickr, some on the 365 Project, etc. So please share your work! We'd all love the see it.
