The club has had a Flickr group for 8 years but very few members are using it. Social media has taken over our lives and if you've spent your allotted computer time on Facebook, Instagram, news feeds and countless blogs, etc. you probably have bleary eyes and little desire for more screen time. But if you haven't looked at Flickr in over a year, check it out. There's a whole new look and interface, some of it good and some not so great. It's a pretty good way to share with other members and get some feedback. Consider joining or coming back to Flickr and interacting once a week or as often as you can.

In keeping with the bi monthly newsletter, we've gone to bi monthly topics. For March and April the topic is "Concrete". I'm still thinking about what to shoot for this one!

Don't like the monthly topic? Post a pic in the "Show and Tell" discussion or in the "Critique" discussion. Or just post your work to your Flickr photostream and make other CCC members your Flickr contacts in order to get updates of their postings.
Take advantage of many other Flickr groups with themes that match your photographic interests (great for inspiration!) or your camera brand/model. These are especially good resources for their discussions of problems, lenses, features, etc. There are groups devoted to locations around the world and photo techniques (sometimes you can pick up instructional how-to info).
Got questions? I'll try to answer them.
